The Freedom Gundam as promised to be announced in 3rd Quarter 2005 has finally been completed. It was submitted as an entry to a local hobby competition organised by Hobby Art Gallery; in which the event ended a few days ago. I submitted this model solely for the purpose of supporting the event because the owner of Hobby Art Gallery is a friend of mine, so I never thought of winning anything from the competition... but it surprised me when a Merit Prize was announced for this Freedom Gundam. I enjoyed the 2 days event during the weekend very much, mingling and chat about the hobby with fellow modellers. I was also very happy to receive nice comments on my model, and a friend of mine actually wanted to buy it. Haha.. I am really flattered. Well, it's time to get back on creating more wonderful models so that I won't disappoint those who like my works so far. :)
The Freedom Gundam is now presently displaying in Hobby Art Gallery, I will do a photo session with it when I get it back. For those who wish to know roughly how it looks like, I've got pictures here taken by fellow modeller MechaEd during the competition. Thanks MechaEd for the pictures. :)
As for the Zaku Warrior which is supposed to be announced in 3rd Quarter 2005, I regret to inform that this project will be postponed to a later date. So sorry for those looking forward to it. Will definitely aim not to disappoint when it is done... in the near future.Labels: Freedom, Monument series |
