1st character design from Blades & Barrels, done in a nu cel-shaded style. An elite special operation tactical unit named S.A.R.S (Special Assault ReconnaiSsance).
SARS is also the name of the deadly virus that once caused a near pandemic between the months of November 2002 and July 2003, infected thousands and killed hundreds. I chose this name for the unit because I want them to be like the deadly virus that strikes fear in the hearts of criminals, just like the real virus did to the public.

SARS is originally an elite special operation tactical unit operating independently away from the army and the police forces. However, after the discovery of the Deliriums and the Raptures’ activities, their role has become more of a “search & stall” unit for the Messiah Knights, which sometimes caused conflicts between members of the 2 units.
Members of SARS are selected from the very best and they are the elites among the armed forces. They are trained to perform high-risk operations that falls outside the abilities of the regular armed forces.
